We have been involved within the music industry for the last 30 years and this has gained us a vast amount of experience and knowledge and has given us the confidence of working in various Music Events
In 1998 APL Event was formed as a family partnership and was invited to assist with the management of T in the Park. From 1998 until 2007, they were involved with campsite, site and project management of this event introducing budget and accounting procedures, purchase order systems, CAD site design and management organisational structures.
During this time many other events were managed and site managed including Creamfields, the 2000 millennium celebrations, co-management of events in France, E Map Radio Roadshow’s and many stadium concerts including Bon Jovi, U2, Neil Diamond, The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart and Genesis.
As the partnership expanded to include Vicki, Phil and Sam, they were involved with the BBC Proms in the Park, Glasgow Hogmanay Celebrations, and Wakestock and Rockness festivals. They currently site manage Download, Camp Bestival, Bestival and Creamfields festivals which have won many awards and are working with existing and new promoters with the formation of new events for 2011 and 2012 including The Olympics.
